Martin was CEO of The Merchants Group, one of the first BPO and CX consultancies in the UK. He then spent a decade in the systems integration industry positioning the value of new technology and the associated change agenda. In 2008 Martin set up his pioneering outfit Brainfood Consulting.
Now a qualified ‘CX Mentor’, Martin provides forward-thinking conference chairing, keynotes, webinars, white-papers, workshops, consulting and mentoring.
Martin’s multi-faceted focus covers everything from emotive customer CX for customer interaction to customer service strategy, trends in contact centre technology, COVID triggered digital first agendas, automation and the human agenda.
I’ve known Martin since the 1970s. Even then - he was always chasing down the next interesting idea. His boundless curiosity and enthusiasm for getting to the bottom of things has always inspired me. He’s an extraordinarily penetrating thinker, a brilliant innovator - all bound up with his passion for meaning and making things better for people.
