Why the Fastest Route Through Your Organisation Isn't Official
RSS Feed In this episode of Truth and Transcendence, Catherine explores “wormholes” as a metaphor for unexpected openings within companies, organisations and other complex systems that can create a much quicker route from A to B.
A wormhole might be a junior person reaching the CEO with an important message, or an unexpected connection providing exactly the knowledge needed to unlock a problem. The key is recognising that possibilities can exist beyond established structures.
Catherine explores how wormholes may reveal themselves through unexpected conversations, connections or emerging groups, and invites us to stay receptive rather than dismissing developments simply because they were unplanned.
It is a playful exploration of organisational change, possibility and emergence – and the idea that the quickest route through a complex system may not be the official one.
